![]() ![]() ![]() If you are playing the PSP version, you can save in multiple slots at different points in the game. If you are playing the Wii version, you will be offered only a single Save slot. In other words, choose a Doctor! Once you have created your crew, you have an option to save your game. If you have created six Sims with different personalities and careers, choose the most practical and skilled as your captain. This is the ONLY Sim you will be able to control when the shipwreck occurs. If all your crewmates have the most important basic skills, the loss of any specific crewmate temporarily will be less dire. This may smack of cheating to some, but it made my game much easier, particularly as the game will insist on the death of one of your Sims at some point. Cooking and Creativity Skills are easy to acquire on the deserted island a bonus, therefore, in either of these categories is not as useful as Logic and Mechanical. These are the most useful Skills to have at the start of the game, as you need them to craft tools and other objects. Doctor is the best choice as it is the only career that gives the Sim two different Skills, one Logic point and one Mechanical point. You can choose between the following careers: Musician Doctor Ranger Chef Mechanic Each career gives one 'Bonus' in terms of Skills. You have the opportunity to create up to six different Sims of either or both genders and to choose their names, appearance, astrological sign and career. The game is based on a shipwreck of a group of Sims who have gone forth on a pleasure cruise apparently. The PSP only allows your Sim to craft complete outfits.
